The aim is to investigate the protective effect of melatonin against UV-mediated damages in human epidermal keratinocytes using viability assays (e.g. MTT assay, Neutral Red Assay, Crystal Violet assessment) |
| Inhalte/Content |
Melatonin possesses a variety of functions including scavenging of free radicals and induction of protective or reparative mechanisms in the cell. Melatonin is known to exhibit protective effects against environmental stressors and one of them is ultraviolet (UV) radiation. |
